Annual Budget for FY 2025
The Municipality of Turtle Islands, like all other municipalities within the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), has a separate annual budget allocated by the Bangsamoro Parliament. For fiscal year 2025, the BARMM has approved a total budget of P94.41 billion. This budget is a reflection of the region’s transition from the previous Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) and aims to be inclusive and transparent.
Annual Budget for FY 2024
The Municipality of Turtle Islands, Tawi-Tawi, is a constituent municipality within the broader Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). The Bangsamoro government did propose a total budget of P98.46 billion for 2024. This budget included a P70.5 billion annual block grant, P5.08 billion from shares in national taxes, and other sources. The budget also included allocations for education, infrastructure, health, and social services. The specific allocation for Turtle Islands would be part of the overall budget for the province of Tawi-Tawi, which is one of the five provinces within the BARMM.
